Three albums from electric violinist maestro Jean Luc Ponty, dating from 1987, 1989 and 1991. Frenchman Ponty first came to wider commercial recognition with his 1969 'King Kong' album which featured Frank Zappa compositions. Ponty has been a member of the Mahavishnu Orchestra and, in recent years, as part of Return To Forever. His solo recordings are many and varied, all receiving critical acclaim and jazz chart success.
