Two years after their debut, "A Tribute to Tigers", By the End of Tonight offer these six new jams. On the other half of this split album is Tera Melos with their frantic, absurdly complex songs - the perfect compliment to By the End of Tonight's darker, more sinister instrumental metal. Though both bands play a hyper-catchy, addictive form of spastic punk, Tera Melos brings to mind a hybrid of fellow Sacramento speed freaks Hella and Cap'n Jazz, while By the End of Tonight draw an unfathomable arc between Blink 182 and the Jesus Lizard.
