Alon Near- Names Places [Digipak] (PREORDER) (CD)

Based between New York City and Europe, the double bassist Alon Near presents his debut album. "Names, Places" is a musical travel journal, written over five years of touring, traveling, and hiking. Each composition reflects a place and a meaningful encounter that left a melody behind. The award-winning bassist (1st Prize at the Rostov International Jazz Competition, 3rd Prize at the International Society of Bassists) releases an album that moves between city and village, complexity and simplicity, tracing a personal journey shaped by movement, memory and human connection. Inspired by musicians like Avishai Cohen, Lars Danielsson or Shai Maestro, Alon Near will tour in Europe in 2027.
